As I travel all across the great state of Alabama – from Fairhope to Fort Payne and Athens to Atmore – I truly am blessed and privileged to visit all the places I go and to meet all the good people that I meet.

Today, I was blessed to wake to a new day in Decatur, the county seat of Morgan County. Morgan County is home to a good number of friends and colleagues I met during my many years with the Secretary of State’s office.

And, needless to say, it was a pleasure to be able to look upon the Tennessee River and give witness to another grand example of the splendor of God’s creation.
