On the Road: Dothan (once again!)

I enjoyed meeting with fellow retired state employees in Dothan yesterday at the Houston County Farm Center. The Alabama Retired State Employees Association (ARSEA) held a meeting for members in its District 8. I was invited not as a candidate but rather to speak about absentee voting procedures. I enjoyed sharing information about voting as I did for nearly 25 years as a member of the Elections Division in the Secretary of State’s office.

On the Road: Dothan (again!)

The Houston County Republican Women (HCRW) had a great lunch meeting today in Dothan. I enjoyed seeing some longtime friends and making new ones. I appreciate the opportunity that the HCRW provided me when they extended the opportunity to speak today.

On the Road: Dothan

I enjoyed meeting with and speaking to the members of Houston County Republican Party last night in Dothan in the County Commission chambers.

I shared with them my part in their District Attorney’s prosecution of absentee voter fraud in stemming 2015. I was a witness in the successful prosecution of cases stemming from Dothan’s 2013 election. Working with Assistant District Attorney Banks Smith, I’m proud to have been a part of the Houston County’s D.A.’s efforts to combat voter fraud.

As I made my way through Dothan, I was impressed by all of the murals downtown reflecting the history and culture of Dothan.
